For the first one, stop play (assuming serious), if not wait till natural break. Have players evaluated. If serious remove player. If not serious they can stay on field (even if trainer came on). Restart with natural restart or if play was stopped, a drop ball.
The second one I'm unsure but would assume the same as the Law is silent on the player location. It just mentions 2 players of same team.
Ok PJ, the correct answers are: 1) You are correct. The only difference being if they need immediate treatment rather than if the referee considers it serious.
2) The players are viewed as being injured in separate incidents. Therefore if serious you stop play, otherwise allow for play to continue until the ball is out of play. Check if players need attention, call for medical assistance. Both players must then leave the field of play regardless of the seriousness of the injury if they received medical treatment/assistance. Restart play as per the LOTG (either drop ball or natural restart). Players may re-enter as per LOTG when the referee approves.
