Which arm do you raise to indicate an Indirect Free Kick?
The left, or the right...

Either arm is acceptable. There is nothing in the LOTG that state that it must be one or the other.

I think we should collectively choose the same arm and do it all the same.
So, my vote is the left arm up.

Worrying about which arm to raise for an indirect free kick restart is just being pedantic. There are many more other important issues that referees need to focus on.

True, it probably is, but, I thought I would ask a more...simple question for once.
My feedback through the year was that sometimes we seem to be focussing too high level, we...forget that some people only have just read the LOTG for the first time, and, are not sure which IFK you raise your hand for or not, or, is that for a DFK. What is pedantic to those in the know could be very interesting to those just starting out.
Then there is the thought of trying to develop consistency across all of us. If we all do the little things the same, it helps us to worry about the more important issues perhaps.
Anyway, I think this one has been cleared up...either hand.
