I was AR for U15/2 game on the weekend. Attacker traps the ball but it ends up wedged between both ankles. Defender standing right in front of him. Attacker then takes 3 kangaroo hops with the ball straight past the defender. I have never seen anything like this and thought what an excellent spur of the moment play. Unfortunately the ref took a different view and awarded IDFK against the attacker. I asked the ref at half time why, his answer was "It just looked wrong"! We both had a chuckle about it. Personally I would have allowed play to continue. What's the correct decision?
