My young bloke has just done the ref's course and is chomping at the bit to get out there. When do the appointments get made for the first games on 2nd April and how do you know that you are properly in the Arbiter system? We managed to log in but there doesn't seem any mention of GDSFA anywhere.

Dear Members, The first round of the ladies competition begins on Sunday 3 April 2011. Our ability to appoint match officials will depend on two factors: The ability of the GDSFA to get the correct draw to us in time. Their first attempt had omitted an entire age group, Your willingness to update your availability on the Arbiter. Please do so now to avoid disappointment. Your ability to receive appointments is dependent on you supplying me with the appropriate forms and paying your membership fee. If you have not receive a welcome note from the Arbiter, it means something is missing so I have not granted you access. If you feel you have done everything necessary and have not received a welcome note, please let me know by email. As for appointments on Sunday, if you are available you can expect an appointment. If you are not available you must block yourself now. By the membership fee do you mean the money paid to do the course? That was paid the first night and all the forms have been done but still nothing happening.

You still need to pay a $75.00 adult or $55.00 junior membership fee to referee. The money you paid for the course was just that - for the course conducting and materials.
You should have been given a membership form at the conclusion of the course. If you weren't click on the link below for a copy!gdsra.com.au/2011membershipform.docCheers

Waduiknow raises a good point. How do you know when appointments have been made? It would be great if we received an email each week stating that all appointments are now done, and pls contact the appointments officer if you did not receive a game. What would also be handy is a list of uncovered games. I block myself out for most of each weekend because of family & work commitments. But often by Fri night I know I am available and so would be happy to apply for a game. cheers

What is the technical hitch that is again preventing the new recruits being used this round?
